Job description

We are working with a large manufacturing business that operates 24/7 and is actively seeking to add an experienced Shift Maintenance Electrician to its Manufacturing Engineering Support team.

Position: Shift Electrician

Working Hours: 36 or 48 hours per week, Monday to Thursday or Tuesday to Thursday, Days/Nights plus overtime

Responsibilities:

• Servicing and maintenance of all production-related equipment
• Fault diagnosis and repair
• Participating in continuous improvement projects and tasks
• Ordering spares and reviewing/checking designs for installation projects

Qualifications and Experience:

• A recognised industrial Electrical qualification (17th/18th Edition)
• Experience as a Shift Electrician or as a dedicated Electrical or Multi-skilled Engineer in a manufacturing environment
• Experience in the print, packaging, or related industries is advantageous but not essential
• Experience with maintenance programmes
• Ideally, experience working collaboratively with Mechanical Engineers
• Good communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to apply initiative and determination

Specific training will be provided as needed, including OEM supplier training and remote diagnostic support from OEMs.
