Role: Principal Psychologist
Salary: Up to £68,000 (depending on experience)
Location: Walsall, West Midlands
Contract: Fixed Term 9-12 months, Full time

Meditalent are recruiting for a Principal Psychologist to work for their client, a leading healthcare provider based in Walsall. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Psychologist to join a well-established, multidisciplinary team.

Main responsibilities:

• Run therapy sessions, psychological assessments, and formulations.
• Work closely and effectively with the team to ensure high-quality holistic care.
• Perform psychometric tests to support diagnostic and therapeutic processes.
• Implement group therapy sessions and tailor plans to individual patient needs.
• Play a key role in service development, contributing to audit and research.

The right candidate:

• Be a Qualified Psychologist with HCPC membership.
• Have experience in providing 1-1 therapy to clients with a variety of emotional and psychological issues.
• Have experience in performing group work and therapeutic interventions.
