Job Title: Electronic Warfare Systems Engineer
Salary: up to £52,000 per annum dependent upon experience

We currently have a vacancy to join one of the world’s leading, global defence, security and aerospace companies as an Electronic Warfare Systems Engineer. The role will be based just outside of Preston and offers the opportunity for hybrid working and flexible hours. Individual circumstances can be discussed.

You will be joining the Mission Enablement Electronic Warfare team, which designs, develops, and integrates a suite of electronic warfare products for the Eurofighter partner nations, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar. These products enable the nations’ air forces to develop, test, and validate their Typhoon mission data before being loaded onto the aircraft. The EW Future Capability division is responsible for developing a new cutting-edge integrated software solution that will replace the individual software applications in service today, enabling the introduction of the latest Radar onto the Typhoon platform.
Do you have a background in Electronic Warfare and a good understanding of Systems Engineering? This role will specifically involve leading the development of the Post Flight Analysis aspects of a future integrated software capability, which will enable the generation, validation, and analysis of mission data. The work is being carried out using Model-Based Systems Engineering, modelling the solution within Cameo, and capturing requirements with the DOORS toolset.
