PE Teacher

Teaching Personnel are seeking a qualified, experienced and passionate PE teacher to work in one of our brilliant partner schools within the Coventry area. The OFSTED rated "Good with outstanding elements" school requires a professional and dedicated PE teacher on a full-time basis. You will be fully supported by your personal recruitment consultant at Teaching Personnel as well as the amazing staff at the school!

Hours: Full time

Pay: To scale

Location: Coventry

Ideal Qualifications:

1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
2. Previous experience teaching PE within a school/educational environment
3. Passionate for sport and education
4. Enhanced DBS on update service (or willingness to obtain one)

Roles/Responsibilities:

1. Plan engaging PE lessons that appeal to all abilities and year groups
2. Deliver various PE lessons that cover a range of sports activities that encourage active participation amongst all pupils
3. Regularly and efficiently track pupil progress
4. Provide feedback to pupils regarding their progress through effective communication
5. Collaborate with the other teachers and colleagues within the PE department
6. Communicate effectively with the other staff, students and parents within the wider school community, actively promoting safeguarding principles
7. Encourage participation from pupils in extracurricular activities, ensuring you support with the delivery of these
