QEHS Assistant

QEHS Assistant – (Reporting and Administration)

Location: Pirin Court – E16, Hybrid working

This role supports the Telent Transport Asset Management business in achieving high standards of Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality Assurance in accordance with UK legislation, directives, operational requirements, and customer standards.

The QEHS Assistant will be mentored by the QEHS Manager to develop their knowledge and experience by assisting with process implementation, minimizing injuries, and promoting business efficiency through robust QEHS management systems and a strong culture.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage QEHS KPI Data and Reporting using Microsoft Power Platform and Office Suite
  • Maintain Planned QEHS Briefings using software like Page Tiger
  • Collaborate with other departments to enhance KPI reporting
  • Participate in internal and external meetings, including taking and distributing minutes
  • Develop QEHS knowledge, skills, and experience
  • Support activities such as contract portfolio management, KPI gap analysis, incident investigations, campaigns, workshops, documentation production, and 8D root cause analysis
  • Assist the QEHS Manager and team as needed
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Administer QEHS KPI Data and monitor performance
  • Promote best practices in QEHS
  • Support client relationships and compliance with EHS legislation
  • Assist operational staff with QEHS matters
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Proficient with Microsoft Power Platform and Office Suite

Desirable but not essential:

  • Knowledge of QEHS systems
  • Experience within Rail, Metro, or Road environments
