Job Opportunity: Counselling Skills Educator

Salary Range: £37,174 - £45,413

FTE: 0.4 (14 hrs/week)

Term: Fixed (Until 31 July 2027)

The Centre for Lifelong Learning (CLL), within the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, offers a successful suite of counselling courses, including the COSCA Certificate in Counselling Skills. We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced educator to join our team to deliver an excellent student experience, collaborate effectively, and expand our portfolio in counselling, health, and wellbeing provision.

As part of our extensive adult education offerings, we aim to expand our counselling team to teach on the COSCA Counselling Skills Certificate. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing team of counselling practitioners and educators within a Centre that is entrepreneurial, people-oriented, and proactive in exploring new business opportunities.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced adult educator in counselling skills and theory, with specific expertise in the COSCA Certificate in Counselling Skills. Experience with online teaching and learning is advantageous. The role will be based at CLL, with flexible, agile working arrangements to be discussed. Please note that some out-of-standard hours work, including evenings and weekends, may be required.
