Job description

We are seeking an ambitious Senior Insight Consultant with Insight Commercialisation experience to collaborate with our suppliers, Argos senior stakeholders, the N360 Argos Client Service team, and the N360 Data & Insights team. The goal is to drive the adoption of SIP for Argos.

Role Priority

The immediate focus will be to unlock the commercial potential of SIP for Argos from our suppliers. SIP enables data-driven decision-making at a rapid pace by harnessing its full platform capabilities. You will act as an ambassador for Sainsbury’s Insight Platform for Argos, conducting platform demonstrations, developing proposals, and converting pipeline opportunities into revenue, supporting our annual Data & Insight targets. Additionally, you will promote SIP best practices across the Argos supplier base, fostering client engagement and securing long-term commitments to SIP, as well as internal usage within Nectar360 and Argos teams.

Nectar360 (N360) offers comprehensive multi-channel marketing solutions around Sainsbury's and Argos stores and online. Utilizing Nectar’s extensive customer database, teams perform advanced analyses to generate new shopper insights and brand opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage the Argos Data & Insights budget, identify risks, and pursue growth opportunities.
  2. Drive the commercialisation of Data & Insight Services supporting the Nectar360 strategy, collaborating with both the Argos Client Service and Data & Insights teams.
  3. Champion SIP for Argos, leading its growth and client adoption, working with various internal teams.
  4. Lead pipeline management, renewals, platform demonstrations, and quoting processes to meet revenue targets.
  5. Build and maintain strong client relationships, understanding their business needs to enhance SIP-Argos offerings.
  6. Influence internal and external stakeholders with excellent relationship management and interpersonal skills.
  7. Stay informed on industry trends and leverage new opportunities for growth.
