Established bespoke joinery company seeking experienced Bench Hand Joiners. Candidates must be able to read setting out/CAD drawings, experienced with 3-phase machines, small electric hand tools, laminates, veneered boards, hardwoods, and solid surface materials. Ability to work independently or as part of a team, achieve quality finishes, and maintain accuracy and attention to detail in producing various joinery items such as bars, backfittings, door sets, reception counters, servery counters, and other manufactured joinery works is essential. We offer very competitive rates for suitable candidates.
You will be responsible for manufacturing bespoke joinery items, either individually or in large quantities, based on CAD drawings or setting out. You will be provided with a cutting list and may need to machine components yourself. Assembly and finishing, including dressing hardwood lippings to a variety of top finishes such as Forbo Nairn lino, laminate, veneers, and finishing laminates to counter fronts, tops, and other components, will also be required to complete each joinery piece.
Candidates should hold qualifications in joinery, such as City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2 & 3 in shopfitting or carpentry & joinery.
