The Opportunity

Due to increasing demand and ambitious growth plans, RYNO is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Design Coordinator to join our team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the successful design and coordination of our bespoke roof terrace systems, acting as the bridge between customers, RYNO, and our manufacturing partners.

RYNO boasts two UK locations—our HQ in Ellon, Scotland and The Studio in London (Clerkenwell). We are seeking an exceptional candidate to work on-site from either location, with the flexibility to work from home when required.

Do you thrive on managing multiple projects, liaising with customers, and ensuring designs meet the highest standards? We’re looking for a proactive Design Coordinator to join our team. If you have a strong eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and experience in coordinating bespoke fabrication, this role is perfect for you!

Key Duties & Responsibilities

1. Collaborating with clients, designers, and stakeholders to ensure project requirements are fully understood and feasible.
2. Creating preliminary drawings or schematics to support project proposals.
3. Assisting the estimating team in preparing quotes and proposals.
4. Managing and following the established design process after order confirmation.
5. Developing initial design drawings for client approval.
6. Coordinating with internal teams and technical experts to ensure accurate and timely production of detailed drawings.
7. Handling design modifications post-order and clearly communicating any impact on project timelines.
8. Overseeing project schedules to ensure timely design approvals and project progression.
9. Coordinating with suppliers to ensure deliveries are aligned with site conditions and properly organized.
10. Conducting site visits when needed to support installation teams with product placement and understanding.
11. Troubleshooting and resolving any design-related challenges during implementation.

Core Skills & Competencies

1. Minimum of 3 years' experience in construction-related design coordination.
2. Experience working with bespoke fabrication.
3. Excellent communication and customer interaction skills.
4. High attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
5. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively.
6. Proficiency in design software and project management tools is a plus.
