Our client is seeking a skilled Senior Telecoms Maintenance Technician to join a team of engineers working on a long-term railway station maintenance contract covering the North Wales Coast areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform planned preventative and reactive maintenance on various communication systems.
  • Handle call-outs and be available for on-call duties.
  • Fault-finding.
  • Lead a small team of maintenance engineers.
  • Maintain and install analogue and digital communications systems including CCTV, PA, Access Control, CAT5 & CAT6.
Job Requirements:
  • Ideally based in North Wales between Holyhead and Cheshire.
  • Background in CCTV, Fire & Security, SISS, VSS, display screens (analogue and digital), data networks, fibre, copper, CATV/CAT6.
  • Experience in maintenance or installation of communications systems and infrastructure.
  • Full UK driving license.
  • Previous railway experience is an advantage but not essential.
  • Willingness to undergo a Railway Medical, Drug & Alcohol test, and a DBS check.
  • On-call payments and overtime uplifts.
  • Company van and fuel card provided.
  • Permanent opportunity working on a long-term maintenance contract.
  • Training provided for working in the railway sector.
