Food Safety & Quality Auditor (Night Shift)

Vickerstock are partnering with our FMCG client - renowned for their commitment to authenticity and excellence on the appointment of Food Safety & Quality Auditor (Night Shift) to join the team based in Newtownards.

Reporting to the Quality Assurance Team Leader you will be responsible for maintaining standards and ensuring best practice is followed by Operations, enhancing the food safety and compliance standards through audits and checks across site. Guided by the Quality Assurance Team Lead, the role will maintain the highest product standards whilst delivering on business KPIs applicable to the Technical Department. The position involves conducting thorough audits of processes, systems, and products to ensure compliance with established food safety and quality assurance protocols, including HACCP standards.

What you will need to succeed:

• Proven experience in a Technical / QA role, preferably within a food production / Pharmaceutical Environment, or Degree in Food related discipline
• Strong understanding of HACCP principles and their application in quality management.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
• Strong Computer skills. Proficient in MS Office.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present findings clearly.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Desirable Criteria (it would be great if you have these but don't worry if you don't)

• HACCP Level 2 Qualifications
• Food Safety Level 2 Qualifications
• Proficient in Managing Customer's Technical Portals (Erudus, Opri, etc)
• Experience of Sage 200 in a production environment
