Job description

Opportunity

We are seeking to appoint a permanent part-time (0.6) Podiatry Clinical Skills Tutor to join our growing Podiatry and AHP team at the University of Salford. You will be an experienced HCPC-registered podiatrist with a broad range of experience across all clinical areas.

You will demonstrate a passion for developing the next generation of podiatrists, with experience in delivering high-quality, evidence-based podiatric care, and a comprehensive knowledge of podiatric education. Excellent communication skills and strong teamwork are essential, as is a dedication to creating the best possible student experience.

Our programmes serve a diverse group of learners, and our team works flexibly, including some Saturdays.

Interviews will be held on Thursday 5th June 2025.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Deliver skills-based training to podiatry students across all levels and programmes.
  2. Demonstrate a wide range of current and evidence-based clinical skills.
  3. Ensure all clinical work is carried out to a high standard, based on a sound evidence base.
  4. Work with the podiatry team to develop a contemporary, achievable, and empowering curriculum for the future podiatry workforce.
  5. Update skills and knowledge to reflect current podiatric practice.
  6. Deliver teaching and learning sessions to support academic modules.
