Corporate & Commercial Solicitor (Legal Director), 8+ Years PQE, West Midlands, £70,000+ (DOE)

Are you a senior solicitor with a strong background in corporate and commercial law looking for a new challenge in your career? JOB REF:9758.

THE ROLE:

1. This is a senior-level opportunity for a qualified solicitor with at least 8 years' experience managing a broad caseload of company commercial work.
2. You will advise a wide range of clients – from sole traders and partnerships to directors and shareholders on various business matters.
3. Your responsibilities will include a varied caseload of matters such as company sales, mergers, acquisitions, corporate restructures, reconstructions, and drafting and negotiating commercial agreements (supply, service, franchise, shareholder agreements, and more).
4. You will also play a pivotal role in ensuring compliance with SRA, Lexcel, and regulatory standards, as well as contributing to the overall leadership of the department.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

• A qualified solicitor with 8+ years PQE in corporate and commercial law.
• Strong experience managing a diverse caseload including business sales, acquisitions, restructures, and contracts.
• Excellent client care and communication skills.
• Commercial awareness and a proactive approach to business development.
• Strong organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
