Job Title:Early Careers & Skills Development Lead (Software & Digital)

Location:Samlesbury. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.

Salary:£50,592 + depending on experience and skills

What you’ll be doing:

  • A team leader who will coach and inspire the team to deliver modern and innovative Education and training programmers through a blended learning pedagogy
  • EC&S Development Leader will inspire learning with a emphasis on coaching where continuous professional development is intrinsically linked to continuous quality improvement and the delivery of service excellence
  • Responsible for the design and delivery of Early Careers & Skills education and training programmers
  • Responsible for performance monitoring and reporting to meet the demands of internal/ external quality monitoring and compliance
  • Manage performance in line with set KPIs and business objectives and ensure an effective learning culture is embedded that inspires continuous improvement and service excellence

Your skills and experiences:

  • Understand Business Unit requirements and translate those into innovative teaching, learning and assessment methods in order to deliver fit-for-purpose learners to the business. Software/Digital or Engineering
  • Have breadth of understanding of the business in order to replicate real-life simulations within the learning environment
  • Effective awareness of changing business and future skills requirements with an ability to review and amend curriculum delivery to meet this need
  • Broad leadership responsibility, leading multi-layered teams of professionals which typically include learner populations
  • Have a broad, multi-functional focus, looking across the Early Careers portfolio of activity

The EDAS Software team:

The EDAS Software team has a diverse background from both industry and education sectors, which enables them to actively support the apprentices along their apprenticeship journey and work collaboratively with internal stakeholders.

The team currently consists of 6 Skills Coaches which cover 3 sites including Warton/Samlesbury with links to partners Brough, Christchurch and Yeovil, however everyone works collaboratively both virtually and in person on a regular basis.
