We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our friendly primary school in Sutton. If you’re passionate about supporting children’s learning and enjoy working in a collaborative environment, this is the perfect opportunity for you to make a real impact.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and differentiated lessons to meet the diverse needs of students.
• Lead small group and one-to-one sessions, providing tailored support for students who require additional help.
• Assist with planning and preparing resources to support learning across the curriculum.
• Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback to the teacher and supporting intervention strategies.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment for all students.
• Work closely with the SENCO and teaching staff to implement strategies for students with additional learning needs.

Who We’re Looking For:

• HLTA qualification or equivalent (e.g. Level 4 or above).
• Experience working in a primary school setting, ideally as an HLTA or in a similar support role.
• A passion for supporting children’s learning and development.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with staff, students, and parents.
• A proactive and flexible approach to supporting students in a range of activities.
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
