Mobile Commercial Gas Engineer – FM Service Provider – London & Surrounding areas – £48,000 per annum

CBW Staffing Solutions is recruiting a Mobile Commercial Gas Engineer to perform planned and reactive commercial maintenance across various contracts in London and surrounding areas. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Facilities Maintenance and experience in commercial building maintenance.

This role is suitable for a Mobile Commercial Gas Engineer seeking career progression. The company offers a salary of £48,000 and opportunities for advancement. Candidates must be Gas Safe qualified with COCN1 or CODNCO1 at minimum, and have extensive experience in boilers, burners, and boosters.

Package & Working hours

• Salary up to £48,000
• Monday – Friday, 08:00 – 17:00
• Holidays: 22 days + 8 statutory days

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Delivering services, repairs, and maintenance in commercial properties
• Reactive maintenance across client properties
• Self-delivery of smaller installations
• Maintain and repair systems within contracted buildings
• Diagnose faults and failures in equipment
• Order and fit parts as needed
• Reactive and planned maintenance
• Provide excellent customer service and build relationships
• Meet KPIs and SLAs
• Offer multi-skilled maintenance covering electrical, mechanical, and building fabric disciplines

Requirements

• Commercial gas qualifications – COCN1, CORT1, CIGA1, TPCP1 & 1A, ICPN1
• Ability to service and fault-find on commercial gas appliances using electrical testing equipment
• Problem-solving skills and initiative
• Completed industry-standard apprenticeship
• Full clean driving license
• Reliable, punctual, flexible
• Ability to work independently
• Proficiency with handheld electronic devices
• Desirable: Domestic gas qualifications – CENWAT, Gas boosters – BMP, Forced draught burner experience
