Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain Oracle databases, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Administer and support Oracle RAC environments, ensuring seamless operation.
• Perform database tuning, backup, recovery, and disaster recovery planning.
• Collaborate with development teams to optimise database designs and queries.
• Implement and manage Oracle software and tools, including RMAN, Data Guard, and ASM.
• Monitor database performance and proactively address any issues.
• Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with organisational policies.

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Oracle DBA in a professional environment.
• Expertise in Oracle RAC (Real Application Clusters) and other Oracle technologies.
• Strong knowledge of database performance tuning, backup, and recovery.
• Familiarity with Oracle Data Guard, ASM, and RMAN.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to liaise with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
