A leading healthcare provider is seeking an enthusiastic Clinical Pharmacist to join their team at Colchester Hospital. This role focuses on developing the clinical pharmacy service within Renal practice, offering opportunities for professional development and involvement in patient care. Job summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Clinical Pharmacist to join our modern facilities at Colchester hospital, covering maternity leave until 25/09/2026. The role focuses on developing and progressing the clinical pharmacy service within Renal practice.
This is a Band 8a position; however, we will consider Band 7 pharmacists for a Band 7 developmental program.
You will be based in the Pharmacy department, with significant ward/clinical level involvement, working within a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive pharmacy services for high-risk patients.

ESNEFT is implementing the EPIC electronic patient record system across the site, including electronic prescribing, administration, and stock control.
Our facilities include fully automated dispensaries, a NHS Specialist Pharmacy Service medicines advice site, and a Regional Pharmacy Manufacturing Unit with a new Aseptic facility.
