Job summary

A leading company in the UK is seeking a Scrum Master to join their Cloud team. In this permanent role, you will coach the team to enhance performance and promote Agile methodologies. Your responsibilities include facilitating team development, removing impediments, and collaborating with Agile coaches to improve processes. Ideal candidates will have strong communication and coaching skills, along with experience in Agile environments.

Your team:

Our Open Tribe coordinates the seamless offerings around IT platform services. You will work as a Scrum Master for the Cloud team to help them in achieving the maximum potential.

Your role:

As Scrum Master your mission is to coach the team in reaching high levels of performance.

Responsibilities:

• Help the team recognize areas of strength and improvement
• Encourage the team to take steps toward self-development
• Promote the Agile way of working
• Collaborate to remove impediments for developers
• Work with Agile coaches and Scrum Masters from other teams to improve the Agile processes within the organisation

Requirements:

• Experience on an Agile Team or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
• Solid understanding of ServiceNow and Microsoft Office applications, including but not limited to Outlook, Word and Excel
• Exemplifies and promotes Agile values and principles
• Outstanding skills in communication, facilitation, negotiation and coaching
• Knowledge of an agile framework or method (. Scrum), or understanding of software development life cycle models
• Planning and problem solving with product management and delivery team
• Documented experience in product or project development

Nice to have:

• Demonstrable experience facilitating meetings at multiple levels of an organization and an understanding of facilitation techniques
• In-depth knowledge of traditional project management principles and practices
• Adept at refinement, story splitting, estimation, velocity, retrospection, and other Scrum techniques
