Software Engineer (Networking / Linux) - £62k + 10% bonus - Motorsports / Automotive technology

We are seeking a Software Engineer with expertise in Linux and networking to join a leading motorsports and automotive technology company. This role offers a salary of £60k-62k plus a 10% bonus, with a flexible work arrangement of 3 days in the office in Surrey.

About the Role

You will develop your career by working on innovative projects in a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate is a university graduate with over 3 years of experience, passionate about engineering, with personal projects such as GitHub repositories, and an interest in IoT.

Responsibilities
  1. Collaborate across engineering teams to understand and improve system functionalities.
  2. Engage deeply with hardware and software components to troubleshoot and optimize performance.
  3. Contribute to projects from conception through to deployment, demonstrating a curious and analytical mindset.
Qualifications
  1. Experience coding in Python, .Net, C, or C++.
  2. Proficiency with Linux command line, Bash, or Python scripting.
  3. Understanding of TCP/IP fundamentals and how the internet works.
  4. Interest in automation and CI/CD practices is a plus.
Candidate Profile
