The Role - Field Service Engineer, Laboratory Diagnostic Systems

Following expansion, we are seeking a technically motivated and customer-focused Field Service Engineer responsible for:

  • Servicing and repairing a wide range of sophisticated medical and laboratory diagnostics systems used within pathology departments, NHS laboratories, and clinical chemistry environments.
  • Visiting customer sites and providing troubleshooting solutions.
  • liaising with external contacts, including laboratory managers and technicians from NHS and private scientific organizations.
Your Background - Field Service Engineer, Laboratory Diagnostic Systems

To succeed, you should demonstrate:

  • Experience as a field service or technical support engineer working with high-value capital equipment, with a qualification in electronics.
  • Experience with diagnostic systems, medical devices, laboratory systems, scientific equipment, or similar high-value electronic/electromechanical equipment. Experience in pharmaceuticals, semiconductors, pre-press, or printing is also relevant.
  • Full product training will be provided; applications from diverse field service backgrounds are welcome.
