To provide access control in a busy warehousing environment ensuring that all visitors, contractors, and haulage drivers are controlled and briefed upon entry according to company policy.

Responsibilities include:

1. Enhancing current security of the company, its site, resources, and personnel.
2. Electronically recording the entry and departure of vehicles and loads into the main truck yard.
3. Conducting exit security checks.
4. Liaising with the warehouse and the Shunter driver when directing loads in.
5. Briefing drivers on behaviour and expected standards when on site.
6. Understanding all fire procedures and actions in the event of an alarm activation.
7. Monitoring fridge temperatures and reporting faults.
8. Monitoring CCTV and reacting to incidents as required.
9. Liaising with emergency services and outside agencies during incidents.
10. Conducting random searches of staff vehicles and baggage.
11. Performing routine site patrols internally and externally to provide security presence.
12. Acting as a visual deterrent against potential criminal activity.
13. Reporting incidents through the chain of command.

Shift: 4 ON 4 OFF Days.

Salary: £26,944 per annum.

Qualifications include holding a valid SIA license, being smart, polite, courteous, positive, attentive to detail, computer literate, able to conduct foot patrols, a good team player, reliable, flexible, and committed.
