Job description

Position: Construction Project Manager, Plymouth

Salary: £60-£65k per annum plus car allowance and benefits or freelance rates apply

Role: A unique role with longevity of work as a Lead Construction Project Manager (No. 1 onsite) required to oversee a £6m commercial build and refurbishment scheme and oversee other smaller projects as they come in for an end user client at Devonport Dockyard. The role is working for the main contractor overseeing the delivery of the project from start to finish under a visiting Operations Manager.

Individual: The candidate will have worked for a recognised main contractor in the build and refurbishment sector and have a proven track record of delivering schemes of a similar size and nature from start to completion.

Requirements:

  1. Excellent construction knowledge
  2. Good programming skills; Asta and Project are an advantage
  3. Good with health and safety paperwork including RAMS
  4. Ability to manage a number of stakeholders
  5. Ability to project manage multiple projects and staff
  6. Ability to pass stringent security checks
