Job description

Job Description

  • Work across the Record UK business to support process improvement.
  • Train and support staff in the Business Operating System (BOS) toolset.
  • Develop and conduct robust maturity audits across the business to identify key improvement areas.
  • Further develop the BOS toolset to include implementation packs alongside training materials.
  • Develop BOS champions in each area of the business to promote tool usage and give increased momentum to process improvements.
  • Identify and champion the selection of process improvement activities across the business.
  • Educate and promote a culture of continuous improvement across the business.
  • Oversee the maintenance and recertification of our ISO 9001, 14001 & 45001 accreditation.

Essential criteria

  • A natural leader and problem solver with a demonstrated sound work ethic.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading and implementing Lean Manufacturing initiatives, resulting in measurable improvements in efficiency, productivity, and quality.
  • Previous experience of leading and implementing Lean tools including 5S, Root Cause Problem Solving, and leading Kaizen events.
  • Experience of overseeing and managing ISO accreditations.
  • Proven change management experience.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and identify root causes.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and present confidently.
  • A formal Lean Six Sigma green or yellow belt qualification is desirable but not essential.

Additional information

Hours: 40 hours per week.
Holidays: 33 days
Salary: Negotiable – dependent on experience.
Location: Record UK, Hamilton, and occasional visits to other Record/Assa sites.
