Job description

At Axon Moore, we are delighted to partner with a high-growth, PE-backed global business based in Liverpool that offers hybrid working. We are seeking a Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA candidate for a Management Accountant role.

In this role, you'll gain invaluable experience and exposure in a high-growth environment, working under the guidance of a high-calibre Group Financial Controller committed to supporting your development.

Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare monthly management accounts for global entities.
  2. Collaborate with the financial processing team to ensure accurate, timely bookkeeping.
  3. Review P&L postings to ensure correct allocation, adjusting via journals where necessary.
  4. Produce and post key revenue-related journals, including accrued and deferred income.
  5. Work with project managers to align revenue recognition with project status.
  6. Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations, investigating and resolving differences.
  7. Provide P&L variance analysis and explanations to management.
  8. Support budgeting and forecasting processes with analysis and insights.
  9. Assist with year-end working papers, financial statements, and group audits.
  10. Participate in projects, including acquisition accounting and entity integrations.
Skills & Experience:
  1. ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified (or qualified by experience).
  2. International experience is desirable.
  3. Strong communicator, able to collaborate across all business levels.
  4. Solid understanding of current accounting standards, including FRS 102.
