Our team includes specialists with extensive construction industry experience from UK and overseas projects.

We are investing in our team to enhance our capabilities, joining one of the firm’s fastest-growing areas at a significant time.

The role

This Associate Director role requires an innovative professional with construction and commercial expertise to help grow and deliver our MPA business, focusing on cost intelligence capabilities and value proposition development.

You will leverage your experience in capex efficiency, benchmarking, cost analytics, and policy advisory across infrastructure sectors, supported by a team of specialists.

The UK MPA team is based in London, Birmingham, and Manchester; this role is based in one of these locations with travel to client sites across the UK and occasionally overseas.

  • Understanding of cost drivers in construction and infrastructure projects
  • Ability to interpret complex data and reports for senior stakeholders
  • Experience in benchmarking and assessing project costs
  • Knowledge of policies and procedures to improve project performance
  • Leadership in problem-solving and project delivery
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to produce clear, fact-based reports
  • Ability to recommend solutions based on experience and context
  • Familiarity with industry best practices and government guidance
  • Professional qualifications such as MRICS, MICE, MACostE, MCIOB or equivalent

Additional beneficial areas include:

  • Cost planning and estimating
  • Risk and value management
  • Governance and assurance in capital projects
  • Policy development
  • Project and programme management
  • Project controls and earned value management
  • Claims and dispute management

The role involves managing client engagements end-to-end, including team management, quality and risk oversight, financial management, and mentoring.

Beyond technical skills, candidates should be able to work independently or within teams, advise clients effectively, pursue professional development, and contribute to business growth, innovation, and capability development.
