Trainee Associate Surveyor - Gloucester

Position: Trainee Surveyor

Description:

Connells Survey & Valuation recognises the importance of developing the next generation of professional Surveyors. We have established an in-house, paid AssocRICS training programme that provides structured training and support throughout your employment. This programme combines technical training with practical, on-the-job experience, allowing trainees to shadow experienced Surveyors and participate in classroom sessions.

Our approach includes classroom learning, regular assessments, and practical experience to equip our Trainees with the skills necessary for a successful career as a Valuation Surveyor.

Ideal candidates will have a passion for residential property and surveying, along with strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent time management, and organisational abilities.

Minimum Requirements:

  1. An RICS-accredited surveying degree, graduate or postgraduate, including modules in valuation and building surveying, with at least one year of property-related work experience.
  2. An RICS-approved HND, HNC, NVQ Level 3 diploma, BTEC, or foundation degree with two or more years of property-related work experience, such as estate agency or surveying/valuation disciplines.
  3. A minimum of four years of property-related work experience (e.g., negotiator level or higher in estate agency, or equivalent in asset management, LPA, or property management), involving caseload handling and decision-making in property matters.
