Chartered Accountant – Property

Job Purpose

Due to our huge expansion we are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Chartered Accountant who has previous experience in Real estate to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in financial services and demonstrate proficiency in various accounting software. This role is essential for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing insightful financial analysis to support decision-making within the organisation.

Main responsibilities:
  1. Prepare and maintain financial statements, reports, and records in accordance with accounting principles.
  2. Producing Quarterly Management Accounts & Year End Accounts.
  3. Utilise accounting software such as Sage, QuickBooks, Xero, and Excel for efficient financial management.
  4. Conduct regular reconciliations of bank statements and balance sheets to ensure accuracy.
  5. Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts to guide organisational planning.
  6. Analyse financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
  7. Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards.

Requirements for this role:
  1. Proven experience in financial accounting or a related field within the financial services sector within Real Estate.
  2. Proficiency in accounting software including Sage, QuickBooks and Xero.
  3. Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and financial management principles.
  4. Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
  5. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating effective communication skills.
  6. Relevant qualifications in accounting or finance (e.g., ACCA, ACA) are advantageous but not mandatory.
