A leading company in the rolling stock industry is seeking a High Level Technician to assist in mechanical and electrical maintenance of the Class 345 Crossrail fleet. The role requires strong fault-finding skills and knowledge of safety regulations. Candidates should have NVQ Level 3 in electrical discipline and experience in rail operations. Hourly Pay Rate: £29.32 PAYE / £37.62 Umbrella
Shifts: Minimum of 50 hours a week, 4 on 4 off, days and nights
Duration: On-going contract

Position Summary: Reporting to the Reliability Shift Manager, you will assist in corrective mechanical and electrical maintenance, fault finding, and repair on the Class 345 Crossrail fleet. Responsibilities include ensuring maintenance complies with safety regulations and contributes to train reliability and availability.
Key Responsibilities:
Qualifications: Minimum NVQ Level 3 in electrical discipline
Experience: Rail experience desirable; fault finding, repairs, troubleshooting; use of diagnostic tools and manuals
Person Profile: Self-motivated, excellent communication, broad Mechanical and Electrical Engineering knowledge, capable of working independently, responsible for accurate paperwork, reliability monitoring, data analysis, and wiring tasks.
Additional Tasks: Electrical component replacement, wiring loom work, system testing, battery modifications, Wi-Fi systems, relay boxes, wiper motors.
