Job Description

We are currently seeking a candidate for an entry-level position in our IT/Systems department. This role is ideal for someone looking to expand their skills within a stable company in the Rhode Island / Southeastern Massachusetts area. We seek a detail-oriented individual with strong organizational skills who may or may not have a specialization, to grow and assist across a broad range of IT/Help Desk functions.

Pay range: $19-24 hourly

Roles and Responsibilities
  1. Supporting end-user helpdesk for basic hardware and software issues.
  2. Analyzing and troubleshooting various technical and non-technical issues.
  3. Providing in-person, telephone, and remote support for end users.
  4. Collaborating with peers and other departments to deliver excellent customer service.
  5. Occasional local travel (MA, RI, NH) to remote showrooms.
  6. Communicating effectively, listening, and understanding information and ideas.
  7. Assisting in creating, updating, and reviewing department documentation.
  8. Auditing reports and data, both on paper and digital formats.
  9. Maintaining internal intranet and website.
  10. Working on-site during scheduled shifts and as needed after hours for emergencies and projects.
  11. Researching a wide range of IT-related topics.
  12. Performing other duties as assigned.
Required Skills
  • Entry-level helpdesk experience preferred but not required.
  • Knowledge of HTML.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Basic understanding of technology concepts.
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through, even under pressure.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Customer service skills, comfortable with remote and telephone support.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in team environments.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods at a keyboard.
