We are committed to being a valued employer in the local area, offering a 'job for life'. We are seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our highly skilled team as soon as possible.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Ensure adherence to and improvement of all safety and environmental standards.
• Provide hands-on support to a team of multiskilled technicians across various shift patterns, conducting proactive and reactive maintenance activities.
• Monitor and maintain site services, including HV switchgear, electrical distribution systems, process water, and compressors.
• Support and manage project activities, including technical specifications, planning, and delivery of projects such as new machine designs, retrofits, and improvements.
• Achieve maintenance targets such as PPM completion, shift task close-out, machine downtime reduction, breakdown and fault resolution, mean time between failures, and mean time to repair.
• Implement lean and continuous improvement strategies using tools like 5Why and FMEA to enhance performance and sustainability.
• Identify and execute actions to reduce conversion costs, focusing on energy and maintenance spending.
• Develop and apply innovative technical solutions to maintenance challenges.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

• Strong understanding of electrical control principles and hardware to support technicians.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Robust process knowledge and project management skills.
• Resilience to handle complex problems in high-pressure environments, with the ability to implement solutions ensuring safe production continuity.
• Self-motivated and proactive.
