Job description

Job Role: Breakfast Chef

OTE: From £14 per hour inclusive of tronc.

Hours: 40 hours per week.

Role Overview:

This role offers fixed morning shifts with no late nights or evening work, providing a great work-life balance. You will be responsible for managing the breakfast service for our hotel guests, preparing breakfast items for the next day, and supporting the kitchen team, including staff lunch preparation.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage the breakfast service, preparing both made-to-order and buffet items.
  • Prepare food in advance and maintain stock levels.
  • Assist with organizing and serving staff meals.
  • Support and mentor Apprentice Chefs in their development.
  • Keep the workspace clean and meet hygiene standards.
Candidate Requirements:

Must be committed to morning shifts and confident in managing a busy breakfast service, often working alone. No formal catering qualifications are required, but basic cooking skills are essential.
