Job Description

We're seeking an innovative Manufacturing Automation Technician to join our formulated product filling and packaging team in Grangemouth. This exciting new challenge offers a unique opportunity to lead the implementation and development of advanced automation technologies, newly introduced to Syngenta. You'll be at the forefront of maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing equipment in our modern manufacturing plants, shaping the future of our automation processes.

• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems
• Install and commission new equipment
• Manage documentation and CMMS data input
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives
• Lead the implementation of new automation technologies

Qualifications

• HNC/HND in Electro/Mechanical, Mechatronic, or Automation Engineering
• Experience in manufacturing equipment
• Strong understanding of automation principles and safety systems
• Proficiency with PLC systems (preferably Siemens S7)
• Experience with CMMS and SAP
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
