Job description

Are you passionate about supporting young people to thrive in education, no matter their background or challenges? Tradewind Recruitment are working with a forward-thinking alternative provision with seven specialised campuses across Birmingham.

The school offers personalised educational programmes tailored to meet the individual needs of pupils aged 5 to 16, who require a different approach to mainstream education. Their provision includes: one primary campus, three Key Stage 3 campuses and three Key Stage 4 campuses.

Each campus provides a supportive, nurturing environment where students are encouraged to grow both academically and personally.

We are looking for a committed and compassionate Teaching Assistant to work closely with teachers and support staff in delivering high-quality, tailored learning experiences. You'll help students engage in education, build confidence, and achieve positive outcomes.

The ideal candidate will:

Have experience working with children and young people, particularly those with additional needs or in alternative settings

Have experience working with children with behavioural issues

Be resilient, adaptable, and empathetic

Work well as part of a multi-disciplinary team

Be committed to helping every pupil achieve their potential
