About Exeter Unified School District

Exeter Unified School District includes two elementary schools serving Pre-school through grade 5, a middle school (grades 6-8), a comprehensive high school, a continuation high school, a community day school, and various alternative education programs to meet student needs. We provide students with a high-quality education, enhanced by technology devices for every student in every classroom, access to music starting in elementary school, and a wide range of extracurricular activities that foster well-rounded graduates. Nearly all students pursue further education or certificate training after leaving Exeter Union High School.

Our district focuses on three main areas: Safety, Academics, and Connectedness, each with specific goals. We prioritize creating a safe environment through regular safety drills, ongoing procedure reviews, and facility improvements. Academically, we offer Advanced Placement and Dual Enrollment courses, along with award-winning electives in Agriculture, Music, and Graphic Arts, Media, and Entertainment (GAME). Our Connectedness goals include ensuring 100% of students participate in at least one extracurricular activity such as sports, music, academic competitions, or clubs.

Requirements / Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher from an accredited college or university.
• Valid California Administrative Services Preliminary or Professional Administrative Services Clear credential, or eligibility based on out-of-state certification.
• Authorization to serve English Learners/CLAD or BCLAD.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in public school administration and supervision.
• At least five (5) years of successful teaching experience, preferably at the high school level.
• Bilingual skills are preferred.
