Job description

We are looking for a dedicated Quality Technician to join a dynamic team within a leading food manufacturing company!

This role offers a unique opportunity to work across flexible shifts, alternating between Thursday to Sunday and Monday to Friday. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that products are safe, legally compliant, and meet the high-quality standards expected by customers.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  1. Support the business in delivering safe and legally compliant food products.
  2. Conduct thorough audits of the manufacturing facility, covering areas such as GMP, hygiene, glass, and other foreign body checks, as well as procedural compliance.
  3. Investigate customer complaints to determine root causes and support the identification of preventive measures.
  4. Coordinate the sending of samples for laboratory analysis and interpret incoming results, escalating any out-of-specification results as required.
  5. Ensure that brand integrity is maintained at all times, following company policies and procedures.
Your Requirements:
  1. Previous experience in a similar Quality Assurance or Quality Technician role within the food manufacturing industry.
  2. Strong understanding of GMP, hygiene standards, and compliance processes.
  3. Attention to detail with excellent organizational and communication skills.
  4. Ability to work flexibly across the required shift patterns.
  5. Experience in conducting audits, handling customer complaints, and managing quality control processes.
