A leading NHS organization in the East Suffolk region is seeking a Lymphoedema Assistant Practitioner. This role involves assisting in patient treatment, leading exercise groups, and supporting self-management for lymphoedema and breast cancer patients. We are currently seeking a Lymphoedema Assistant Practitioner to join our team in the East Suffolk region. The role involves assisting in the treatment of patients with Lymphoedema, primarily based at Ipswich Hospital. You will also lead group work for patients to support their self-management and participate in developing new workshops with senior colleagues.
The Lymphoedema Clinic provides advice, support, and treatment for patients with swelling due to cancer and non-cancer conditions. With appropriate training and competencies, you will support practitioners with measurements, fitting compression garments, and management advice.
This role also involves rehabilitating breast cancer patients through post-op exercise groups, focusing on education and self-management to enhance recovery and shoulder mobility.
