Job Title: Building Services Site Supervisor (Electrical Bias)

Location: City of Westminster, London

Salary: Circa £52,000 per annum

Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00

Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent

We are currently seeking an experienced Building Services Site Supervisor (Electrical bias) to join our team at our prestigious client. This is a unique opportunity to work in a world-renowned cultural institution within a supportive and collaborative environment.

About the Role:

You will oversee a dedicated team of six engineers responsible for the maintenance and operation of the building’s HVAC systems, including air conditioning and climate control. The role involves both hands-on support and office-based responsibilities, assisting with engineering operations and contract management.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Supervise day-to-day maintenance operations across the site.
  2. Support and assist the engineering team with hands-on tasks as required.
  3. Liaise with contract support and management to ensure smooth service delivery.
  4. Monitor and maintain HVAC plant systems and climate control across the facility.
  5. Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures and company policies.
  6. Support the team with technical issues, including occasional out-of-hours assistance.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Proven experience in a supervisory role within building services.
  • Strong electrical bias with relevant qualifications.
  • LV Authorised Person (AP) status is highly desirable; training can be provided if not currently held.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Flexible approach with a willingness to support out-of-hours issues (note: no formal on-call rota).
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a high-profile, client-focused environment.
