Overview of the role

We are looking for an experienced Pharmacist to join the team and make a difference at our pharmacy in Hindley in Wigan.

This community pharmacy is commutable from Bolton and Manchester and is located in a nice area just outside of the centre of Hindley. It has a great relationship with the GP surgery/health centre.

This is one of our previous top 5 pharmacies with great potential to grow.

How our pharmacy makes a difference:

• It dispenses 3,000 items a week.
• It provides a wide range of services including all core services including BP/ABPM/PF/NMS, contraception.
• It provides services to 7 substance misuse patients.
• It dispenses 215 community blisters.

This pharmacy is open 08:30 to 18:10 Monday to Friday. The dynamic team at this pharmacy is comprised of a Pharmacist, Team Leader, x2 ACT's, x2 PA's and a TPA.

The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate must possess an MPharm degree or equivalent and management experience is desired but not essential. You will be required to have your GPhC registration upon your start date.

We can offer consistent rotas and geographical coverage that suits you.

You'll be supported in your role by an Area Operations Manager and a Regional Operations Manager, with regular structured pharmacy visits.

We have invested in new technologies for our pharmacies including a new PMR system and centralised dispensing to allow you to focus on providing quality care and services to our customers.

We are focused on mental health and wellbeing which is why we've put all our field managers through the Mental Health Awareness course to raise awareness and enable a greater level of support when working in our pharmacies.
