Our client is a South Wales food manufacturer that values hard work, teamwork and developing people. They are a leading manufacturer in their field and are now looking to add a quality controller to their growing quality team.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and analyse incoming raw material deliveries both on site and at 3rd party storage facilities.
  • Monitor and audit compliance with company quality standards, including the correct completion of all relevant documentation and records.
  • Assist in all customer visits, third party audits and enforcement visits and actively support the site technical team.
  • Communicate with current suppliers and investigate any customer complaints.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

  • Educated to degree level in food related subject, and/or 3 years' experience within the food manufacturing industry.
  • Full UK Driving License required as role involves work at 3rd party sites.
  • Spot opportunities for product development and engage the wider team to gain buy-in.
