About the role:
As the Commercial Operations Sr. Manager, you will play a key leadership role in partnering with the SVP Head of Business OUS and the Commercial Team to drive the successful implementation of commercial strategies across global markets. You will be responsible for coordinating priority initiatives, supporting strategic execution, and ensuring alignment with revenue targets and overall P&L objectives. This role demands a proactive, analytical, and collaborative professional who thrives in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment and is committed to operational excellence.
Necessary Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
- Responsible for implementing strategies to drive revenue growth with the General Managers Team, increase market share, and maximize profitability. This involves analyzing market trends, identifying growth opportunities, and developing plans to capitalize on them. Will play a key role in tracking performance to ensure the organization is delivering on its financial objectives. Works in close collaboration with the SVP of OUS Commercial.
- Analyze and identify market trends, competitive threats, and growth opportunities in partnership with the Marketing Team. This includes analyzing customer needs, preferences, and behaviors to inform strategic decision-making.
- Represents the OUS Commercial team to ensure launch readiness of NPDs and product availability. Works closely with product development, regulatory and operations teams to develop product strategies that align with market needs and ensure product availability. This may involve determining pricing strategies, product positioning, forecast, and launch plans.
- Leading the cross-functional teams to implement commercial, sales, and marketing initiatives. This includes the Sulayom Experience, Voice of the Costumer, Sales Training and Global Events.
- Ensuring alignment between commercial strategy, sales, strategic marketing, and operational marketing. This includes creating insights for marketing strategies, sales strategies, and promotional activities to drive revenue growth.
- Oversee the sales training function to enhance selling capabilities and track performance. Manage team to execute global/regional events to enhance Motiva presence and drive customer activation. Coordinate closely with MedEd team to ensure appropriate KOL participation, driving conference agenda, and KOLs communicate appropriate messages.
- Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the effectiveness of commercial strategies and make adjustments as needed to optimize performance and achieve business objectives. Track performance of key priority initiatives (e.g. China, Preserve launch) to ensure organization delivers on their targets.
- Work closely with GMs to develop revenue and product forecast for OUS business. Coordinate closely with Customer Care and Operations the forecast to ensure appropriate levels of product availability.
- Manage quarter and year end close process. Work closely with Distributor sales team on development of distributor orders, track direct markets sales, and coordinate with Customer Care and Operations teams to ensure product availability to ensure delivery of quarter and year end targets.
- Providing regular updates and reports to senior leadership on the performance of commercial strategies, key initiatives, and market trends.
You are:
- Masters degree in a related field (e.g., Business, Finance, Marketing, or Operations) or equivalent professional experience
- Minimum of 9 years of relevant experience in Commercial Operations, Sales, Project Management, or related disciplines
- Strong financial acumen with a solid understanding of P&L management and revenue performance metrics
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Excel (advanced), PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Visio
- Experience with Salesforce and other CRM or commercial analytics platforms
- Fluent in English and Spanish, with advanced communication skills in both (written and verbal)
- Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced, global business environment
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a track record of delivering on commercial priorities
- Willingness and ability to travel internationally up to 50% of the time
