Job description

Microsoft Senior NAV Developer Northampton (Hybrid working) £70,000-£85,000 + Benefits

My client is a Microsoft Dynamics Business Central partner. They are a team of experienced Dynamics consultants, specialising in Business Central and NAV, who can assist with new implementations, upgrades to new versions, or integration with internal and external systems.

Role responsibilities:

1. Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and system enhancements.
2. Maintain and update technical documentation.
3. Develop, customise, and optimise NAV / Business Central solutions to meet business needs.

Experience/Skills:

• Ideally 6+ years of NAV (C/AL) experience.
• Ideally 4+ years of BC (AL) experience (a combination of both is not unusual as the AL language is relatively new).
• Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Business Central Developer MB-820 qualification is expected, but candidates without it will be considered.
• Experience working on projects converting C/AL to AL.
• Experience with complex integrations with other business systems and third parties.
• Experience with functional (nice to have) and technical design (necessary) writing.
• Experience leading a team of developers (even if just a few) is preferable.
