A leading accountancy firm is seeking an Audit Assistant Manager for their Peterborough office. The role involves leading audits, managing client portfolios, and developing team members. Due to continued growth, we are looking for a talented individual to join the Peterborough office as an Audit Assistant Manager within our Audit Team. The successful candidate is expected to be ACA/ACCA qualified with solid technical skills and experience in leading, or taking a lead role, in an audit team.
The role
As an Audit Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team to deliver quality and efficient statutory audits and other assurance engagements to our clients. You will work as part of a team to deliver our uniquely personal and proactive service, upholding the highest standards in client service. You will be directly responsible for managing a seed portfolio of clients, as well as supporting large and complex assignments. This is a progressive role in which your client portfolio will grow.

You will join a growing team with regular check-ins with your Performance and Development Reviewer (Senior Manager or Director) to support your career development.
