Teaching Personnel is recruiting on behalf of a vibrant and inclusive 11– 16 secondary school in South Manchester who are seeking a female PE teacher to join their department from September to cover maternity leave.
About the role:
Deliver high- quality PE lessons across Key Stage 3 and 4
Teach a broad and engaging curriculum including netball, football, gymnastics, athletics, rounders, and fitness
Plan, deliver and assess theory and practical lessons in line with exam specifications ( GCSE PE desirable)
Actively support extra- curricular clubs and sports events
Inspire young women in sport, physical activity, and healthy lifestyles
The school offers:

Requirements:
QTS or PGCE in Physical Education
Experience teaching PE in a UK secondary school
A proactive and professional approach to teaching and learning
Female applicants only due to supervision in changing rooms ( Genuine Occupational Requirement under the Equality Act 2010)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
