Multi Trade Operative Role in Ellesmere Port and Surrounding Areas

Location: Ellesmere Port
Rate: £20.00 p/h CIS
Contract Type: Temp to Perm
Hours: 40 hours per week

I am working with a client who has an exciting opportunity for a Multi Skilled Joiner to join their team based in Ellesmere Port. You will be working around Ellesmere Port and surrounding areas. Please note, you may be required to work further afield as the contract demands, with all travel times considered as part of working hours.

Company van and fuel card is provided.

Responsibilities:

1. Remove or relay or lay new flag work
2. Undertake small scale groundwork
3. Repair/renew/fit roofing trusses for traditional, hips and valleys and repair/renew/fit soffit fascia and barge boards
4. Repair/renew ceiling and floor joists, stairs, studding, partition walls, T and G or sheet flooring
5. Repair/renew doors and door casing, skirting, handrails, balustrades, pipe boards and ducting panelling
6. Repair/renew kitchen units, work tops and decorative finishes
7. Repair/replace/fit ironmongery to doors and windows
8. Repair/renew timber and UPVC window frames
9. Reglaze timber fencing and gates

What You Will Need:

1. Must have a NVQ L2/L3 qualification
2. Experience working as a Multi Trade Joiner/Plumber and in the installation of wet rooms & disabled adaptations
3. Ability to carry out multi-skill trades, with core expertise in joinery or plumbing
4. Experience working within a social housing environment
5. Valid UK driving licence
6. Must hold a CSCS card, have asbestos awareness, and own tools
7. Valid DBS is needed
