Job description

Women's Team Travelling Chef - Chelsea FC

Salary: £40,000 per annum

To plan, organise, and assist in the delivery of food service which provides a competitive advantage to the Chelsea FC Women’s Team. Work with the Women’s Head Chef, Executive Head Chef, and the Head of Nutrition to produce food across the Cobham Training Ground and destination hotels during the Women’s Team travel. Assist in developing performance menus and food purchase specifications, ensuring all client demands and needs are met. Maintain Levy UK’s reputation for food quality as a top priority. Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, Food Hygiene, and COSHH regulations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Effective communication between staff and stakeholders, sharing best practices and fostering creativity in an approachable manner.
2. Lead and manage the hotel culinary team to deliver catering requirements.
3. Collaborate with the Head of Nutrition and Women’s Team Head Chef to develop and deliver performance-focused menus through strategic planning.
4. Assist in sourcing high-quality, local produce in line with an elite performance culture and supply chain.
5. Coordinate with CFC and destination hotels regarding menus, mealtimes, travel, and logistics.
6. Travel with or ahead of the team to destination hotels, meeting with chefs and FOH managers to discuss service and expectations.
7. Communicate with clients to enhance culinary offerings and exceed requests.
8. Ensure adherence to all relevant HSE procedures and motivate teams to work safely.
9. Maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety in all kitchen areas, working closely with the Head Chef and Operations Manager.

Hours of Work

Hours will be determined by business needs, including evenings and weekends, in accordance with the Working Time Directive and workforce agreements.
