An established industry player is seeking a property consultant to join their dynamic consultancy team. This role focuses on delivering strategic property advice and managing stock condition surveys across the South of England. Ideal candidates will possess a strong background in residential surveying, with essential knowledge of HHSRS and decent homes standards. The position offers opportunities for professional growth and skill development, ensuring a rewarding career in a thriving environment. If you are passionate about property consultancy and eager to make a meaningful impact, this is the perfect opportunity for you.
Our client's Property Consultancy team provides strategic advice and guides clients through a full spectrum of property consultancy, housing asset management, and compliance-related activities, focusing on stock condition surveys and EPCs. This role covers the south of England, so willingness to travel to project sites within London and the South of England is required.
Due to continued success and growth, they offer an opportunity for a property consultant with desirable stock condition and EPC knowledge. The role suits individuals from a residential surveying background or those with broad housing knowledge who have worked in residential sectors for several years.
Understanding client needs is essential, especially as many clients are under the housing regulator. Knowledge of who the regulator is and their operational standards helps deliver better service. Awareness of mobile electronic data capture systems is beneficial but not essential, as training is provided. Knowledge of HHSRS is crucial; understanding all 29 hazards and their impact on property performance and risk is necessary. Recognizing that each property and its residents are unique is important, as is a good understanding of decent homes standards.
The candidate should be comfortable managing several surveyors simultaneously and working professionally with clients via face-to-face meetings or Teams, including delivering challenging conversations confidently. The role offers challenges and opportunities for development in a dynamic sector.
Effective communication skills and project management experience are vital, as the role involves being a key contact for clients and surveyors. We will support skill development and professional growth within our team.
Please note, only shortlisted applicants will be contacted for screening.
