Job description

Job Title: Production Engineering Technician

We currently have a vacancy for a Production Engineering Technician to work within the Production Engineering team, focusing on New, Current, and Special products. The role offers a diverse range of responsibilities including: New Product integration, Production support, inspection, jig and tooling design, process improvements, and assembly operation documentation.

Responsibilities
  1. Provide support and input during the New Product Development cycle.
  2. Support product assembly processes.
  3. Design tooling, jigs, and fixtures for production.
  4. Identify and initiate process improvement activities.
  5. Inspect non-conforming products.
  6. Create clear instructions for assembly processes.
Key Requirements
  • Education: HNC (or equivalent) or a time-served apprenticeship.
  • Self-motivated and proactive attitude.
  • Experience with production techniques and best practices.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, design notes, and CAD models.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
