Job description

With the completion of our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility, Red Bull Powertrains has a new opportunity for an experienced CNC Gear Grinding Machinist to join our highly skilled team.

This role will immerse you into the heart of our machine shop, which includes some of the industry’s most impressive technology, manufacturing critical powertrain components.

This permanent contract will involve working Mon – Fri, early & late shifts (following a period of training).

Your Responsibilities:

1. Manufacture critical powertrain gears to the highest quality standards, adhering to engineering drawings and models using CNC grinding machine tools efficiently.
2. Ensure prioritized products are delivered on time in a push and pull environment, reporting any delays to relevant departments.
3. Use machine tools in a safe and productive manner, complying with company health and safety policies.
4. Inspect all work on or off the machine to ensure high-quality standards before submission to inspection.
5. Sign off all shop floor documentation on the company MRP system, ensuring all products and paperwork correspond.
6. Meet aggressive production targets without compromising quality.
7. Provide clear and accurate updates to the Shift Lead and Head of Cell, escalating issues as needed.
8. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational functionality and efficiency.

What We Need:

Applicants should have expertise in operating and setting KAPP grinding machines with Fanuc NC and Siemens NC controls, with the ability to interpret complex engineering drawings with high attention to detail. Familiarity with CBN wheels and coolant system management is essential. Additionally, candidates must inspect gears and uphold ISO9001 standards.
