We are seeking an experienced, self-motivated engineer to work onsite with customers in the UK as a Database Infrastructure Specialist. Join our team of skilled technical experts who build and maintain clients’ technical landscapes through tailored support services.

This is an onsite role with customers 5 days per week, in London and UK South.

What You’ll Do

Become a trusted technical advisor for our customers, developing deep knowledge of their systems and needs. Support infrastructure and platform deployments onsite and in the cloud, delivering services that promote customer success and innovation.

• Provide production operation support for ODI, ensuring stability, availability, and performance of critical systems. Install, configure, and operate Oracle Infrastructure Platform products such as Exadata.
• Offer solution architecture advice, conduct reviews, and provide conceptual support.
• Analyze product issues to identify resolutions.
• Resolve complex issues, research technical inquiries, and assist users. Support software installation, configuration, health checks, and performance assessments.
• Educate customers on product features, updates, benefits, and patches.
• Deliver proactive, client-specific support for CCS customers to ensure operational excellence across cloud and on-premise deployments.
• Act as a trusted technology advisor, understanding customer requirements and environments.
• Maintain professional relationships within the global CCS practice, collaborating with Oracle Technical Account Managers, Product Support, and customer staff at various levels.

Desirable Experience:

• 6-10 years’ hands-on experience with Oracle Database and Infrastructure products, including Oracle Engineered Systems like Exadata and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
• Proven Oracle DBA experience is essential.
• Experience with GoldenGate and Oracle security products.
• Advanced OS administration skills with Unix/Linux; Solaris, Solaris-Cluster, and Windows skills are a plus.
• UK Government security clearance or eligibility is required.
